Kia Ora and Welcome. The greeting I use at the start is a greeting indigenous to Aotearoa New Zealand. It means Welcome in a spirit of goodwill.

Set up in March 2010, this is my blog site, which expands an explanation of my professional interests and work at www.viennarichards.com. I decided to separate out website into two namely a static one on the dot.com and this one using open source software made popular by bloggers. To sum up my role as a communications specialist I help merge minds, ideas and languages. I start by transforming the complex, the technical and the jargon-laden landscape into simple, easy-to-understand words. Everyday words in a style that everyday people you love would get.

In my professional life, I am concerned mostly with helping people and organisations to present and represent themselves better and smarter. Educating people on how to transform the complicated into simple and effective communications of all kinds. I offer here my thoughts, ideas and information borne of experience. My hope is that what I offer here may be both useful in your search for professional and personal information and, on a good day, inspiration.

If you would like me to assist with your public affairs or communications project as a trainer or adviser, you’re welcome to send an email  at my contacts. I’m also available on skype at vienna.richards.

If you wish to add your ideas or thoughts, email us at info@viennarichards.com.

By the way, if you’ve never been to New Zealand, it is one of the most beautiful countries in the world.  Check out this photo of Mount Cook in the South Island of New Zealand.
