How do you stay updated with the latest global breakthroughs and developments in the field of communications, PR, marketing, crisis communications and reputational management?

Take me straight to Vienna Richards’ blog

When I’m learning new things, not necessarily directly in my field, creativity flourishes, inspiration comes, and imaginations are refueled. It’s a natural byproduct of the eye seeing things new, in a fresh way, from a different angle. That’s one of the benefits of being stretched and taken out of one’s comfort professionally and personally. It adds to our personal and professional experience.

So this website is about sharing discourse and robust research on topic issues and challenges that are in the media and facing industry and community.

Bringing meaningful topics to life, learning and sharing that knowledge so that others benefit from it, and introducing new online audiences to new information, well, that’s hugely satisfying.

I’ve long been a firm believer in the adage, where there’s a will there’s a way.  So resurrecting this website at viennarichards is the start of creating a way to make this possible again.

This website is one solution and a way forward. I can use this site to capture findings and find the answers to often-asked questions in the workplace and on community projects.

I’m curating content on trends, research and public discourse on learning and education, digital technology, science and medicine, social media, journalism, training and communications.

Particularly, I’m interested in how they intersect with the issues and challenges facing communities and industry. And how it impacts on the well-being of people and the environments we live and work in.

How does technological development and industry change meet the needs of children, families and communities?

What about people who stand on the fringes?

What changes and improves in people’s lives, homes, communities, and workplaces, when technology and systems improves?

What lessons are learned? What are we not addressing? And why not?

If you’re interested in finding answers to perennial questions on these topics, please join me in this pursuit for further knowledge and understanding.

P.S You can explore what I’ve curated or written by category or going straight to Blog to see it in one location.
